Bowden put Tadcaster ahead in the thirty-second minute when he scored from thirty yards.Steve Tobin equalized in the fifty-fifth minute when, after receiving a low cross from Stephen Hill, he showed good ball skills to make himself an opening to score. United made frequent changes in the second half which ended in a flurry of goals as Fella scored in the eighty-third minute before Bowden hot his second a minute later to put the game beyond Leeds who had managed to get a second. Mark Ford replaced Alex Byrne at Right Half in the fifty fourth minute. One minute later Martin Littlewood replaced Noel Whelan at Inside Right. In the fifty-seventh minute Paul Pettinger took over in goal from Scott Cousin. A minute later Michael Hoyle replaced Simon Oliver at Left Back. David Connor replaced Kevin Daly at Centre Half after sixty-three minutes and after sixty-eight minutes Gary Lynam replaced Stephen Hill at Outside Right and Whitemell came on for Eaton at Outside Left.
